Privacy notice
Last updated 7 November 2026
This notice explains how Octa Systems Ltd (trading as Octa Digital, “we”) handles personal data collected through octa.sh. We are the data controller for that data.
Who we are
Octa Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14497462), registered office 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB873271. Contact us about privacy at [email protected] or +44 330 133 3702.
What we collect
This site has no forms and asks for no personal details. Like any web server, ours briefly records technical request data (such as IP address, browser user agent and the page requested) to keep the site secure.
If you email or phone, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, contact details and what you’re getting in touch about.
How and why we use it
We use what you send only to reply to you and, where you ask us to, to take steps towards an engagement or a role. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not send your data to other companies.
Who we share it with
Email is handled by our email provider, and the site runs on cloud hosting infrastructure. These providers act as our processors under contract and may only use the data to provide their service to us. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless it leads to an engagement, in which case we keep it for as long as needed for that contract and our legal obligations. Server request logs are kept for no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
